Shipping
iKamper roof top tents are shipped via freight, and we charge a flat fee of $199 to most locations in the contiguous US and $800 to Alaska (Fairbanks and Anchorage only), Puerto Rico, and Hawaii. Extra shipping costs may apply to locations requiring special delivery options. You may cancel your RTT order at any time before it has shipped and get a full refund, minus a 3.5% cancellation fee.
Warranty
For 2 years from the date of roof top tent purchase, iKamper will replace (at our discretion) defective parts at no cost to the customer. iKamper will provide replacement parts, but the customer will be responsible for installation. This warranty applies only to customers who purchased directly from iKamper.com or an authorized dealer and does not cover second-hand purchases. If you purchased from an authorized dealer, please submit proof of purchase with any warranty claims. Products sold by iKamper that are not iKamper-branded are warrantied by their respective manufacturer. “Garage Sale” tents (only available in our Kent, WA location) are sold with our 2 Year Limited Warranty, but will not include a warranty on certain parts that will be notated at the time of purchase. Our warranty does not cover all issues, such as the ones below: - UV damage: ultra-violet damage to fabric or gel coat. - Normal wear and tear, cosmetic blemishes occurring as a result of use (vinyl window - - -- discoloration or damage, scratches/dents on the rooftop tent shell, etc.) - Damage caused by the customer (misuse, accident, abuse, etc.) - Damage caused by acts of nature (storm damage, wind damage, etc.) - Aesthetic changes that do not affect the general operation of the roof top tent. - If the product is arbitrarily repaired or modified by the customer.

It is worth purchasing a Protection Plan on an unfamiliar item
Bought a 3-year protection plan for a nut milk maker machine for $5.99. It was a fairly new kitchen item in our household and we were not familiar with the brand. So, I bought the plan for a piece (peace) of mind. The machine worked nicely for about 18-20 months with daily use until it tripped the circuit outlet.
My initial chat with Asurion did not go as I expected due to discrepancy on their end as they see a protection plan for the nut milk maker as a sporting goods valued between $100-$199, not as a kitchen item valued between $30-$39.99. ( I had bought 3 different protection plan on th same day for multiple items purchased on Prime Days). They were looking at a different plan and I was unable to get them to "scroll over" to the appropriate protection plan.
I tried again on a different day during the first hour of their contact hours and had a cheerful Asurion agent who was able to find the appropriate kitchen item protection plan. It was a simple and thorough conversation and transaction. I was refunded within hours after I packed up and dropped off the damaged item out to UPS.
Moral of the story: Asurion Protection Plan is worth it and contact them at the start of their first day shift, not at the end of their evening shift.

No hassle refund
So glad I bought the plan. After 2.5 years of everyday use of my toaster, it quit working. Contacted Asurion, they emailed a shipping label. A few hours after I dropped the package off at UPS, I had the refund in my Amazon account. Very easy, no hassles.

Very bad
This guys are just an eye wash, they do not cover anything but will charge you. I bought Hand Blender and it broke in couple of months and I took 3 year protection from Asurion. When I contacted them about the issue, they said it is not started, go to manufacturer. I reached out to Amazon and they replaced it for me. Now again it broke. I reached out to asurion again. Now they say it is not contract. what is the point of having protection. Waste of time and money. I will not recommend this to anyone. This is a fraud protection.
